Q: How does Twelve Corners Day Care Center select and hire teachers?
A: When going through the hiring process, we look not only for applicants who possess the required education, but also those who have had experience with working with children. All of our teachers have completed their CDA (Child Development Associate) training or above, as well as completed at least 12 hours of additional training every year. In addition, every teacher has had many years of experience in child care as well as a great passion for working with our little ones.
Q: How many students is each teacher responsible for?
A: At Twelve Corners Day Care Center, we pride ourselves on our small classroom sizes and the personalized learning experience each student receives. Our classroom ratios (student: teacher) are as follows:

- 18 months - 3 years 5:1
- 3 year olds 7:1
- 4 and 5 year olds 8:1
Q: How is safety and security monitored at your facility?
A: When you come into our building you will see a key card security system and a door bell. Only parents and staff members have a key card to get in. All others must ring the bell, speak to the front office and sign in to gain access to the building.

A: There is a strict alternate pick-up policy in place here at Twelve Corners Day Care Center. In order to have someone else pick up your child, we must have prior notice that someone other than you will be picking up. The alternate pick-up will need to bring a photo ID in order to pick up your child. The safety of our students is our number one concern.
